Some of you may be familiar with the YouTube channel Mike’s Goldwing Garage. Well, I have to admit, life took me away from that for a while. The videos are still there, and you can gain some great information from them. So, feel free to meander out there and check them out. This blog is an extension of that. I’ve corralled a good friend of mine, the owner of Prince Kitchens in south central Pa., Mike Prince. Yes, another Mike.  And we’ve decided to take a trip across the United States. You could classify this as a trip of a lifetime, a bucket list item, or whatever. Frankly, the time was right, we both have the money to do it and so… What the heck!!

This site is something that I put together so Mike Prince and I can log our preparation and experiences along the way. It’s not meant for anything more than just that for the time being. At some point, if we get lost or run out of money, we may be asking for help, but until that time comes… Enjoy the articles.

The planning of the trip will be minimal and consist mainly of a start date, September 15th, 2024, a be home by date of October 31st, 2024, and a list of destinations we want to experience. The dates were merely based on our commitments to Kinetic Multisports where we assist in the support of the bicycle portion of the triathlons carrying photographers and judges while others in our group man corners and direct traffic to keep the cyclists safe and an estimated ride length of 5 weeks plus a little buffer time..

With our last race on the morning of September 15th, we’ll be heading out on the road straight from there. Follow along below as both Mike Prince and I post our adventures. I hope you enjoy.
